On April 20, Kraft Foods Group, Inc., a Columbia, Mo., establishment, issued a recall for 96,000 pounds of Oscar Meyer Classic Wieners' due to mislabeled packages. A press release provided by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) states that some of the products do not accurately list ingredients associated with pasteurized cheese found in the cheese dogs, including the known allergen milk.

The following are subject to recall, courtesy of the release:

The company first learned of a problem when a consumer alerted Kraft on April 18, regarding the misbranding. The company notified the USDA the following day, according to the release. Fortunately, the Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) said they have not received any adverse reports regarding the packaging mishap at this time.

Consumers with any questions regarding the recall are advised to contact Kraft Consumer Relations at (855) 688-4386.
