Sure. Your 20s are a time of growth, struggle and constant reinvention. But they might also be the happiest time of your life--at least, that's what a new study suggests.

New findings reveal that if you just celebrated your 30th birthday, you may never be as happy as you were 24 hours ago (keeping certain factors in mind, of course.)

During this recent study, Australian researchers found that happiness follows a predictable trajectory as we age, with the highest levels reported between the ages of 15-24. But don't worry; there's still something to look forward to in old age. Researchers found that there's another happiness spike following 75.

"It (happiness) then stays till low, but increases slightly, and is the highest around the age of 80," said Dr. Loana Ramia, of the University of New South Wales in Australia, via The Daily Mail. "So that's something to look forward to."

During what researchers referred to as the "middle-age plateau," they found that certain factors played a role regarding how happy individuals were during this period, including employment opportunities, financial situations and proximity to family, friends and entertainment.

"At this time happiness is at its lowest and it only starts to increase when people start focusing on other things, like their free time," said Dr Ramia.

Your life is what you make it, after all. Right?
