Nextbit Robin smartphone is the new Android phone, which started its trip to the market as the hit Kickstarter project. Although it is a product of a startup, the Robin smartphone is complete in terms of high-end features.

The Nextbit Robin smartphone comes with an attractive design, which sets it apart from other Android phones, including an innovative cloud storage solution implemented by the company. This feature will automatically store frequently used apps in the cloud the moment the onboard memory of the device reaches the full capacity.

Nextbit Robin smartphone is equipped with a long line of specs, starting from a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 chipset, along with 3GB of RAM. The two components were basic for a lot of high-end Android phones until the release of the Snapdragon 820. It also comes with 32GB of internal memory as well as 100 GB of free cloud storage from Amazon. The phone display is a 5.2-inch IPS LCD unit, along with Full HD resolution size of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels, covered by the Corning Gorilla Glass 4.

The Robin smartphone's main camera has a 13MP unit and a dual-tone phase and flash detection autofocus, having the capability to capture a 4K video, while its front camera has a 5MP snapper. It is packed with a combination of front speakers and dual amplifiers. The handset's connectivity options will have Bluetooth 4.0, 4G LTE, NFC, USB Type-C and Wi-Fi 802.11 a, b, g, n, ac, as reported by Ubergizmo.

The device boots the new Google's Android Marshmallow, and to deliver the its distinct cloud storage solution, Nextbit dressed the OS in its homescreen launcher. However, its user interface appears to have no homescreen widgets and app drawer, making it similar to an iPhone.

Nextbit Robin smartphone is available at $399 and comes compatible with T-Mobile and AT&T. The phone's price tag places it in competition with Google's LG Nexus 5X and a number of top Android offerings in 2015, according to Best Products.
