An emission nebula, named LHA 120-N55, resides within the Large Magellanic Cloud. According to the European Southern Observatory (ESO), astronomers are studying the region to "learn about the conditions in places where new stars develop." ESO used the Very Large Telescope (VLT) in Chile to capture the imagery.
