A recent doomsday video created by Mind Warehouse is the latest clip to go viral on social media. The video shows a post apocalyptic situation when humanity no longer survives, and how it affects the planet. According to the visualizations presented, it won't take long for Earth to reset again and function normally. Furthermore, as per the video narrative, "in 300 million years if there was a new rational species they might not even notice there was a civilization before".
The video starts by showing that once all humans cease to exist, tubes and underground train systems would be flooded due to pumps that would be rendered useless without human monitoring. Farm animals and pets would die of starvation in 10 days and packs of big dogs would take to hunting smaller animals.
The lights on the planet would turn off due to the inability of power stations to function. Fossil fuel plants would no longer have fuel to run and dust would cover solar plants. Nuclear strikes would take place all over the globe within months because the cooling water in the stations would have evaporated. The explosion effects would be massively stronger than the one at Fukushima and Chernobyl. However, Earth would gradually recover from the radioactive contamination
A year after humans have been wiped out from the planet, satellites orbiting the earth would start to fall. Vegetation would cover a majority of the cities in 25 years, and places like Las Vegas and Dubai will be reclaimed back by the deserts they are situated in, and covered in sand. All cities will have clean air with improved levels of visibility.
Marine life will thrive without human interference and whales will flourish. Metal towers, bridges and buildings will start to collapse after 300 hundred years due to corrosion. In the next 10,000 years, the only evidence of man having existed would be in the form of stone structures like Mount Rushmore, Egypt Pyramids or the Great Wall of China.
The video was created using footage from the National Geographic and animations from a television series called Life After People, and it shows just the effects of doomsday but not the actual cause leading to it. "The reason is irrelevant, just imagine the results," the narrator of the video says.
