Sony Xperia X Performance Release Date, Specs & Price: Pre-Orders To Begin On June 17

Sony had announced four new Xperia series smartphones namely Xperia X, Xperia XA, Xperia XA Ultra and Xperia X Performance during Mobile World Congress event which was held sometime earlier this year. However, the company did not reveal anything about the handsets' release date at that time.
Now, the Japanese tech giant has started taking pre-orders for the Xperia X smartphone which is scheduled to hit U.S. shelves on June 26. Pre-order for Sony Xperia X Performance will begin from June 17 and the Xperia XA Ultra and Xperia XA pre-orders will commence from June 19, reported Christian Today.
People can pre-order the Sony Xperia X through Best Buy, Amazon, B&H and Reagan Wireless for US$549.99. Sony has confirmed that those customers who pre-order the new handset will get a free 128GB MicroSD memory card, according to Australia Network News.
As far as the specifications are confirmed, the Sony Xperia X comes with a 5-inch FullHD display with a 1920x1080 pixels resolution and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 processor with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory. The handset sports a 23-megapixel camera on the rear along with a 13-megapixel front-facing camera and a 2,620 mAh battery. The device runs on the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow, reported Tech Times.
Sony's Xperia XA boasts a 5-inch HD screen and a MediaTek MT6755 processor clubbed with 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage. It sports a 13-megapixel camera on the rear, an 8-megapixel camera on the front and a 2,300 mAh battery. The handset will cost $279.99 and will hit the shelves on July 17.
The Xperia XA Ultra touts a 6-inch Full HD 1,080p screen with mobile BRAVIA engine 2. The handset runs on a MediaTek MT6755 chipset and offers 3 GB of RAM along with 16 GB of internal memory. There's a 21.5-megapixel primary and 16-megapixel front-facing camera and 2,700 mAh battery on board. The phone will be available for $369.99 starting July 24.
