E3 2016 will not be attended by Electronic Arts. They have decided to divert from the traditional E3 by not having their own booth and hosts at the conference.
"Star Wars Battlefront" maker Electronic Arts will be holding an alternative event called "EA live" near the convention centre. It will be an open event with a live presentation of the forthcoming games. Footage of the anticipated games was unveiled such as "Battlefield 1," "Titanfall 2," "Mass Effect: Andromeda," and "FIFA 17."
"Titanfall 2" will have six new titans fighting alongside pilots with new weapons. The rumoured grappling hook, teleportation module and singularity generator is still available in the game. The grappling hook will expand its player's mobility that includes long-range and melee attacks. The trailer revealed that the storyline will revolve between the pilots and their bond with the titans. "Titanfall 2" is said to be released on Oct. 28, The Verge reported.
EA's live presentation has published rehearsal show that unintentionally displayed a "Titanfall 2" demo, CNET reported. "Mass Effect Andromeda," was present at the conference, but shown in a short behind-the-scenes video. Most sports games does not include a storyline, but "FIFA 17" has a story mode with the title "The Journey." It is a big challenge when played offline.
"Battlefield 1" also showed a quick footage set in World War 1. Destruction physics and dynamic weather are included as key features of the game. A beta test will be open this summer and the official game will be released a week after "Titanfall 2."
"Unravel," on the other hand, was a successful hit for EA, Fe is a 3D semi-open world gameplay that was made by small independent developers. Star Wars has already been confirmed before the event and EA has not much to say about the game.
E3 2016 with EA's press conference has just started. More updates are to be released on the next major conference throughout the week.
