Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs) have been a topic of great interest for decades. While, there have been many incidences when UFOs were claimed to be captured in pictures and videos, their existence still remains a big mystery.

Taking into consideration the number of UFO images from around the globe, it has become evident that our Earth is constantly being visited by extraterrestrial civilizations. Other than government officials, who have come forward to speak about alien life time and now, astronauts and military personnel have also stated their belief that there's no doubt that intelligent alien species do exist.

The study titled "Estimates of Optical Power Output in Six Cases of Unexplained Aerial Objects with Defined Luminosity Characteristics," which was published in the Journal of Scientific Exploration, Vol. 12, No. 3, pp. 345-358, 1998, provides some evidence related to UFO existence.

As reported by Ancient Code, it was when two Royal Canadian Air Force pilots were flying in a formation of four F-86 Sabre jet aircraft at 36,000 ft (about 11 km), headed due west over the Canadian Rockies, that they managed to capture some extraordinary images of an Alien Craft in 1956.

The pilots observed the mysterious object, which was higher than approximately 4 km, for more than 45 seconds. R. J. Childerhose, the pilot in the second position, claimed that he saw 'a bright light which was sharply defined and disc-shaped' or 'like a shiny silver dollar sitting horizontal,' far below the plane but above the lower layer of clouds. The object appeared to be 'considerably brighter than the sunlight.'

The pilot reported the observation to the flight leader and also took a photograph of it. The same was also backed up by Former Canadian Defence Minister Paul Hellyer in the video posted below.

Also, in the 1990's Peter Andrew Sturrock, who is a British scientist and Emeritus Professor of Applied Physics at the Stanford University, examined the evidence related to UFO sightings along with his team of researchers.

They published the study titled "Report on a Survey of the Membership of the American, Astronomical Society Concerning the UFO Problem: Part 1," in the Journal of Scientific Exploration, Vol. 8, No. 1, pp. 1-45, 1994.

"If it does indeed turn out that there is relevant physical evidence, if this evidence is carefully collected and analyzed, and if this analysis leads to the identification of several facts concerning the UFO phenomenon, then will be the time for scientists to step back and ask, what are these facts trying to tell us? If those facts are strong enough to lead to a firm conclusion, then will be the time to confront the more bizarre questions," noted Professor Sturrock.

"If, for instance, it turns out that all physical evidence is consistent with a mundane interpretation of the causes of UFO reports, there will be little reason to continue to speculate about the role of extraterrestrial beings. If, on the other hand, the analysis of physical evidence turns up very strong evidence that objects related with UFO reports were manufactured outside the solar system, then one must obviously consider very seriously that the phenomenon involves not only extraterrestrial vehicles but probably also extraterrestrial beings."
