Countless rumors have been circling the internet about Samsung's newest flip phone. Now, it seems like the long rumored Galaxy Folder 2 flip phone is almost right around the corner. With its supposed promotional photos leaking on the internet, more and more people are excited to know more about the newest Samsung Flip phone.

The Verge has reported that Samsung was working on a follow up phone to its Galaxy Folder flip phone but it didn't paint a clear picture of what the phone is like. It was also reported that SamMobile first talked about the South Korean tech giant testing a new Galaxy Flip phone with a 3.8-inch display.

After some time, the phone was spotted at the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) with a 2,000mAh battery. It was also said that the handset already received its Bluetooth and TENAA certification. This excited a lot of tech savvy people since it not only means that some of the specification of the phone has already been revealed, but could also mean that a launch may be brewing.

The phone's promotional images for the newest Samsung Folder 2 flip phone have been surfacing in China's microblogging website, Weibo. According to Techno Buffalo, images of the Galaxy Folder 2 that leaked showed a slim Android flip phone with a gold design. The device allegedly packs a 3.8-inch display, an unnamed Qualcomm processor, a 2,000mAh battery, an 8-megapixel rear camera, a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, 2GB of RAM and 8GB of expandable storage. It runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. The report also revealed that the newest flip phone will come at a budget-friendly price. It will apparently be launched in China for only $250.

Samsung has been relatively quiet about its upcoming flip phone. There has never been any confirmation of when it would be released. However, the tech company is not really new to flip phones. Note that the Galaxy Folder 2 is successor to last year's Galaxy Folder. But, since the Galaxy Folder was a China-exclusive, chances are a similar fate awaits its successor as well, India Today reported.
