Kickass Torrents (KAT) has been closed down by the US government following the arrest of its founder Artem Vaulin. Now, while everybody is sulking about the original KAT site gone, a mysterious KAT link has been discovered online and users were surprised to find that it works properly. Is a searchable KAT an indication that the seized file-sharing site coming back?
According to Parent Herald, there are a number of mirror sites and proxies have recently emerged and authorities in the United States are incessantly doing their best to take them down one by one. However, users were surprised to discover a searchable KAT link that works just like the original one.
Right now, users flock to The Pirate Bay (TPB) and ExtraTorrents for their dose of movies, TV shows, music and much more. Game n Guide reported that one KAT site, Katcr is working perfectly and users may use it for downloads. Although there are no talks as to the origin of the site, those who want to access the site won't have to place unnecessary credit card details just like what other mirror sites for KAT are asking.
The International Business Times also reported that it is important to not fall prey to those sites, as divulging credit card information can be dangerous.
