Avid Pokémon GO players are really putting all their efforts in hunting down every possible rare nest location. Several groups, alliances, and forums were created solely to gather information about where in the world do these rare nests are hiding. But apparently, Niantic wants to stir again the game by reassigning the locations of these rare nests.
For those who are not familiar with nest locations, rare nest locations are certain locations that help trainers get most optimum evolution for their Pokémon. Most nests recognize certain Pokémon species for evolution. You can also capture normal to rare Pokémon in these places from time to time. These nests are dispersed across different places and different countries.
In short, after an update, some nests are reassigned to a different set of Pokémon species or some are simply gone. Niantic routinely does these reassignments to assure that different places have an equal chance of discovering a different type of Pokémon. Also, this is also to avoid some players from hoarding these Pokémon locations. Niantic is leveling the playing field to make the game more interesting and more challenging for the players.
As reported by Pokemon GO Melbourne, the next major reshuffling of nest assignments is expected in next week's update. It is advised that players should go to the nearest nest and breed your Pokémon before the major reset. Pokémon GO dedicated websites like Pokémon GO Trading will have to update their nest directory and maps.
As expected, this gained mixed the players. Some players are irritated with Niantic drastic updates and bans that were implemented in the latest update. Some are hopeful that these nest locations will be located somewhere near their vicinity.
Nonetheless, the Pokémon GO craze, despite the rapid decline of app users, is still the most downloaded and used app in both the Android and iOS app markets. With these new reiterations in the game, Niantic proves that they still have more left up in their sleeves.
