A new Amiibo leak has been spotted online in what seems to be a confirmation of the Nintendo NX release date, as well as the newest Zelda series, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
According to recent reports, a new Amiibo leak has been spotted by Reddit users online that may have confirmed the release dates of both Nintendo NX as well as The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The newest Zelda figure was spotted in an official Nintendo website and was listed to be released on March 4, 2017.
However, it made things a bit more puzzling because amiibos have always been made available before or after the game it's associated with has already been launched. It is also important to note that although the new amiibo may have hinted the release of Nintendo NX, there is still nothing solid that would count as a confirmation.
IGN reported that the amiibo figures spotted were Archer Link, Rider Link, and a Guardian. As most gaming enthusiasts may remember, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild was set to be released on both the Wii U and Nintendo NX. So, if the figures are an indication of an estimate time frame of the when the newest installation of The Legend of Zelda franchise, it could possibly mean that Breath of the Wild may be the flagship launch day title for the Nintendo NX.
However, Game Rant also reported that Nintendo has been mum about the code and what it could possibly mean for both Nintendo NX and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. It also still does not have any specific release dates on their respective official pages. But, the recent gameplay demos, including videos that showed a wide range of combat looked like they have fairly polished their product.
Meanwhile, Nintendo has reported first showed the three amiibo at E3 2016, and explained how the Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD Wolf Link amiibo would be supported in Breath of the Wild. Other Legend of Zelda amiibo figures were also revealed recently to honor the franchise's 30th anniversary.
