Despite rumors of "GTA 6" getting cancelled, gaming enthusiasts are quite confident that developer Rockstar Games will not disappoint them. Rumors are that the gaming studio is currently focusing on developing and rolling out "Grand Theft Auto 5" DLC. So, the makers aren't revealing any information about GTA 6 release date.
Notably, "Grand Theft Auto 5," the latest flagship title in the franchise, is still earning very well for Rockstar Games and can even be spotted appearing in the Top 10 most wanted online games list.
Some reports claim that the gaming studio has not yet started working on "GTA 6" and that they are even not planning another sequel. While others claim that there are high chances of the GTA 5 successor getting unveiled at the Electronic Entertainment Expo 2017 event. However, "GTA 6" release date is unlikely to take place before 2018.
There are also rumors that "Red Dead Redemption 2" could be a probable reason for the delay in "GTA 6" release. It is reported that the sequel to the 2010 blockbuster, "Red Dead Redemption," will get announced ahead of the GTA 5 follow-up. It still remains to be seen whether or not "Grand Theft Auto 6" will ever see the light of the day.
One of the most talked about rumors circulating around the web about the alleged GTA sequel is that the gaming title will come as 4K display ready as well as with virtual support. Among other "GTA 6" rumors, the action adventure game is expected to remain in the United States and based in Jacksonville.
The female protagonist of the highly anticipated game is rumored to be voiced by Hollywood star Eva Mendes. In fact, Ryan Gosling, who is Mendes' real-life partner, is also rumored to voice one of the game's male characters.
We advise our readers to take all the rumors with a grain of salt as nothing yet has been officially announced by the makers.
