A lot of rumors related to "Tekken 7" release date, gameplay, characters and DLC have been hitting the web for quite some time now. Notably, Bandai Namco has already confirmed the return of Miguel Caballero Rojo into the "Tekken 7" playable characters roster.
In the latest "Tekken 7" game trailer, the Spanish character Rojo can be seen showcasing his heavy-handed fighting style. The video game character was first introduced in "Tekken 6" alongside characters such as Alisa, Lars, Leo, Bob and Zafina. It is expected that the upcoming game will see Rojo taking the revenge of his sister's death from Mishima Zaibatsu and Jin Kazama. Street Fighter fame Akuma will also reportedly be seen playing a big role in the plot.
According to Tech.Mic, "Tekken 7" is likely to feature 33 playable characters. Among the characters who have been confirmed so far include Jin, Kazuya, Hwoarang, Heihachi, Lars Alexandersson, Steve Fox, King, Marshall Law, Lili, Paul Phoenix, Leo, Alisa, Asuka, Feng Wei, Yoshimitsu, Lee, Nina, Xiaoyu, Dragunov, Bryan Fury, and Bob.
The next Tekken installment is also expected to feature a slew of new charcters including Jack-7, Lucky Chloe, Claudio Serafino, Josie Rizal, Master Raven, Shaheen, Kazumi Mishima, Gigas and Katarina Alves. There are also reports which claim that the game developers might introduce Hong Kong supercop Lei Wulong as one of the "Tekken 7" DLC playable fighters. Wulong first appeared in "Tekken 2."
It was when a Tekken fan asked Katsuhiro Harada, the game director of "Tekken 7: Fated Retribution", if Lei Wulong has a chance of featuring in "Tekken 7", Harada replied saying "He has a chance of course. But his usage rate was too low. Our effort wasn't enough."
Talking about "Tekken 7" gameplay, the much anticipated gaming title will reportedly feature one of the franchise's darkest stories.
According to known insider, Flying Wonkey, "Tekken 7" will get a release date sometime in the last week of February 2017 for the PC, PS4 and the Xbox One.
