After recently launching the newest MacBook Pro models there have been mixed reviews for Apple's newest notebook. Here is a definitive specification breakdown for the new MacBook Pro 2016 models. The question which is bothering tech enthusiasts is that is the latest MacBook Pro 2016 worth the price?

Apple came out of last week's big media event with a new feature for the MacBook Pro. The new 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Pro has the Apple Touch Bar. This feature is a secondary OLED multi-touch panel that allows the notebook to change interfaces depending on the app in use. Moreover, the new MacBook is geared with sixth-generation Skylake processor and the Touch ID.

Starting with the basic 13-inch model of the MacBook Pro 2016, the model does not have the Touch Bar or the Touch ID feature. However, the base-13 inch model packs the speed with a 2.0 GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 processor and an SSD storage with 256 GB. It also boast an 8 GB RAM that is upgradable to up to 16 GB coupled with an Intel Iris Graphics 540 GPU. If users wish to have the Touch Bar feature, consumers has to shell out extra dollars for the 13-inch model with Touch Bar. The model sports a lightning quick 2.9 GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 processor and an Intel Iris Graphics 550 GPU.

On the other hand, the 15-inch model of the new MacBook Pro 2016 has standard feature of the Touch Bar. The highest costing variant of the model sports 2.7 GHz quad-core Intel Core i7 processor, an SSD with 512 GB, integrated Intel HD Graphics 530 and GPU behemoth with Radeon Pro 455 along with 2 GB of GDDR5 memory. The model also allows automatic graphics switching. The new MacBook Pro also have the new butterfly-style keyboard and Force Touch trackpad.

Aside from the aforementioned changes, the new MacBook Pro 2016 slightly deviate from 2015 version of the notebook. Specifically, the 2016 model has a thinner chassis to go along with a 67 percent brighter Retina display. These changes are not that far away from the previous iteration of the MacBook Pro, aside from the Touch Pad feature it is not at all cutting edge in terms of the innovation presented. If you are planning to buy or upgrade consider the price range and the specs.

Considering the price of the MacBook Pro 2015 model starts $1,299 in comparison to the Touch Bar less 2016 model that starts at $1,499. While the 15-inch MacBook Pro 2015 model costs $1,999 in comparison with the 2016 model that costs $2,399.
