Elon Musk-Owned Company SpaceX Belongs To 50 Best Places To Work In The Recent Survey

Elon Musk is not only a billionaire but also described as the real-life Iron Man. Owning big names in the manufacturing such as SpaceX and Tesla and other companies made him one of the billionaire goals. Thus, running big companies has given thousands of people jobs. Now, not only does he give jobs opportunities but one of his companies belongs to the 50 Best Places to Work in the recent survey.

Recently, the job hunting site called the Glassdoor released the survey results for their annual 50 Best Places To Work. SpaceX headed by Elon Musk is one of them.

SpaceX was included in the list for the first time. The company ranked at the 40th place. To get the results, they gathered anonymous reviews from employees, asking at least 75 people over the course of a year that are extremely close.

Among the companies, the highest on the list is the Bain & Company it received a 4.6 out of 5. The 50th place got 4.2. For SpaceX, though, it received a 4.2 and it was ranked higher.

SpaceX beats Ikea and the grocery chain store Wegmans. However, it ranks below Apple, Facebook, Google and In-N-Out Burger.

Inverse reported that the majority of the reviews coming from the employees that have been submitted to Glassdoor shows that SpaceX was praised because of its lofty mission of space exploration and the possible Mars colonization. However, some of the reviewers say that they have long hours of work and difficult work-life balance. The company is about rocket science and It can become stressful sometimes and, of course, time-consuming.

As follows, 97 percent of the employees approved the company's CEO, Elon Musk. Thus, it has been previously reported that Elon Musk is the most admired tech leader.

Glassdoor's community expert Scott Dobroski told the Business Insider that, "We see employees talking favorably about working for companies with mission-driven company cultures, working for senior leaders who embrace and practice transparency, doing interesting work that has a greater impact, career growth opportunities, and competitive pay. We also see employees at tech companies, in particular, talking about great perks they enjoy, including free meals, gyms on site, massages, free laundry services, and generous parental leave policies."
