There is a lot of speculation about the next member of the Google Nexus family. We are, of course, talking about the widely anticipated Google Nexus/Pixel 7 tablet that is rumored to be launched in 2017. It is not known whether the upcoming gadget would retain the original Google Nexus 7 or be rebranded as the Google Pixel 7 2017. It should be noted that the recently released Google Pixel X and Pixel XL were deemed to be the successors of Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P.
The tech world is abuzz with all kinds of guesses and rumors about the name of this upcoming tablet as well as when exactly it will be released. The Google Nexus/Pixel 7 tablet may probably not run on Android Nougat 7.0, but it may actually feature the latest Google hybrid OS. This OS is called the Andromeda and allows a tablet to get Chrome features into an Android device.
Google Pixel 7 or Google Nexus 7 news dictate that the tablet gadget will have desktop class performance. The Andromeda OS, as a functional OS backdrop, will allow a tablet to perform much like a laptop. Google may be following suit of Apple who has done a similar thing with their iPad Pro.
