A documentary that recently premiered this month actually shows proof that aliens may exist.
"Sirius," which premiered on April 22, showcases claims of Steven Greer, a prominent UFO researcher who has dedicated years of his life to proving that the U.S. government is actually covering up evidence of extraterrestrial life.
The pint-sized alien body that's being featured in the film is a mere six inches long. The desiccated creature is brown and yellow in color with a prominent head and spindly arms and legs. Supposedly, it was recovered from the desert several years ago; yet for some reason, it's only now that the alien is being studied--just in time for Greer to receive funding for his documentary. However, as the film just came out, we realize that the alien was in fact, a human.
Whether or not alien life exists has been a controversial topic for centuries. The Roswell incident in particular has helped spark theories about the possibility of recovered spacecraft and extraterrestrial life forms. In 1947, accounts of an airborne object crashing in Roswell, New Mexico circulated through the U.S. While the U.S. Armed Forces stated that the craft was actually debris recovered from an experimental high-altitude surveillance balloon, conspiracy theories have continued to propagate.
In fact, this isn't the first time that a film has been released concerning the possibility that aliens exist. In 1995, a "documentary" was released that showed grainy black and white footage of the military apparently dissecting an alien body. However, skeptics pointed out telltale signs that the footage was actually a hoax. The makers of the film eventually came forward and confirmed the skeptics' findings, according to Discovery News.
That said, Greer is still adamant about the existence of aliens. In a video statement, he said, "What people need to understand is the secrecy around UFOs and extraterrestrial intelligence really has nothing to do with ETs. It has to do with humans and the power that is resting in large corporations and financial interests that do not want you to know the truth."
With the video fresh out, we now know that this is not alien, but in fact, the remains of a small human. In any case, it makes you think, doesn't it?
