Police in Miami are on the lookout for a man who passed himself off as a doctor from Venezuela and allegedly killed a Miami woman after injecting her with butt-enhancement injections.
Twenty-eight-year-old Suyima Torres reportedly visited Cuerpos Health and Aesthetics in April for a $1,500 procedure in which an oily yellow substance was injected into each of her butt cheeks, according to court documents obtained by CBS4.
Weeks later, she underwent a second procedure, amounting to a total of $2,300, which killed her hours following.
She was pronounced dead nearly 10-hours later at Doctor's Hospital, according to CBS4.
This is not the first time a butt-enhancement procedure has gone horribly wrong. The worst case might be considered the 2011 "toxic tush," in which a woman was found to inject fix-a-flat into the rears of several patients, causing serious medical complications. This canned chemical is typically used to inflate tires.
Just a year later, The Huffington Post notes that a Hialeah couple was arrested for performing unlicensed butt injections out of their house with an imported substance from Colombia.
In the end, whether you want a bigger butt, a smaller nose or a tighter face, make sure you get the dirt on your doctor. Stories like this might just make you glad you did.
