If you're lookin' for a little pushin' in the cushin', heading out for fast food might not give you the results you're wanting. Extra calories may not push fat distribution down south if you're more 'apple-y inclined,' or even if a few extra cheeseburgers go towards your nether region, it just might not bring out the J Lo in you.
For many women who had no luck with the aforementioned and other butt enhancing cosmetic rituals, some U.S. gals have been turning to illegal silicone injections on the black market to get a little more junk in the trunk without adding to their wasteline, sticking fake pillows in their jeans or going under the knife.
So what exactly does this involve, you ask? Well, according to various reports, these procedures are often comprised of silicone injections by those who had absolutely no medical training.
And where is this happening? Parts of Georgia, Florida, Nevada, New York, Pennsylvania and even Alabama, which have all unfortunately reported hospitalizations and even some deaths following the black market buttocks injections. An interior decorator in Mississippi is even allegedly facing trial for the deaths of two women who underwent the injection procedure at the decorator's house.
While it is true that silicone is used in some plastic surgery procedures by plastic surgeons or an advanced medical team, there have even been health problems, including deaths, associated with such procedures as silicone breast implants. According to the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, only 19 percent of plastic surgery procedures use silicone as the products can rupture and must be replaced at least every 10 years or less.
It might be true that exercise and diet can only get you so far. Genetics play a huge role in how we look as humans. But c'mon. When life gives you lemons, make lemonade and add a cute parasol, if you like. That's our motto. No point in risking your life for a big behind.
