Los Angeles' porn industry has had a recent health scare when two stars were allegedly tested positive for HIV. According to the Free speech Coalition--a business group that represents porn movie producers--tweets from an actor who's stage name was commonly known as Rod Daily, has noted via Twitter that he has contracted HIV, and officials report that his tweets seem to appear "authentic."

Daily is reportedly the second L.A. porn actor to contract the virus just two weeks after the news broke regarding Cameron Bay HIV diagnosis, who is also referred to by her stage name.

At the time of the diagnosis, a moratorium was called via all porn productions and the Free Speech Coalition stated their intentions to work with the Adult Production Health and Safety Services (APHSS) in order to help better control the situation that the virus could spread to other actors.

"[We will] contact and treat performers for any possible exposure involving the primary patient," the coalition stated, two weeks ago.

At this time, the coalition has called on all of Daily's sexual partners to be tested for the virus in order to prevent any further health scares in the porn community.

Californian legislator Isadore Hall is attempting to secure approval of a law that would require the use of condoms in adult film making, which the industry has long been resistant to, according to Time.

Human immunodeficiency virus, or HIV, is the virus that causes AIDS. HIV/AIDS weakens a person's ability to fight infections. It is contracted through unprotected sex or needle sharing. An HIV test confirms diagnosis. Medications may suppress the virus and delay the onset of AIDS, according to WebMD.
