NASA’s Curiosity Rover Captures a Mysterious 'UFO' in Martian Sky [VIDEO]

NASA's famed Curiosity Rover has made another impressive find by capturing a celestial object streaking through the Martian atmosphere, which has created a furor among the UFO hunters who believe it is an extra terrestrial craft.

The unmanned curiosity rover is most advanced robotic probe to touch the Martian surface and is making extraordinary findings during its ongoing mission. The latest update from the rover is a picture of a mysterious celestial object that is seen streaking through the Martian sky.

A closer look at the video shows a trail behind the white moving object that appears to be travelling toward the upper right side in the Martian sky.

"Enlargement of the object reveals a spherical top cone, a rounded center mass and what looks like some kind of propellant ejecting from its tail," the Bublews site claims. "Does Mars have it's own space programme?"

A UFO hunter Streetcap1 was quick to post the video triggering several amateur astronomers claiming it to be something more.

The video that went viral on YouTube generated a mixed review.

"Can't be a comet. We'd be able to see it here from Earth (I'm an amateur astronomer). If it's something on the lens then it would show up in all the pictures, not just one. A meteor does not leave a trail that appears both before and after the stone itself. My guess is that it may be a lens flare," according to a You Tube Viewer.

Another viewer Ian MacFarlane said, "Interesting, but it does not move, despite what is billed as an exhaust or contrail. It is a static blob of light that appears to be interacting through some vapour at altitude. Like many Earthside UFOs, it may well be just a star or planet viewed from the ground."

This is not the first time that the Mars Science laboratory has bumped into extraterrestrial life.  The U.S. space agency has recently been sued by a California-based scientist/author for refusing to examine a jelly-shaped doughnut size alien rock that resembles a fungus.

"The refusal to take close up photos from various angles, the refusal to take microscopic images of the specimen, the refusal to release high resolution photos, is inexplicable, recklessly negligent, and bizarre," Joseph mentioned in his petition filed on Monday. NASA on its part claims that it is just a rock dislodged by Opportunity in its roamings.
