A Bedroom TV may Help Couples Ramp Up their Sex Lives
A recent study shows that keeping a television in your bedroom may be all you need to spark up your sex life.
According to researchers, people with television sets in their bedrooms had, on average, twice as much sex as those without.
Survey information asked that participants to report how many times a week they had sex with their partner as well as if they had a television in their bedroom. Findings showed that about 74 percent of respondents had a bedroom television.
Further analyzation also showed that those with a television in their bedroom had sex twice per week. However, those without a TV were more likely to have sex just once a week.
While 67 percent of participants said they believed that having a television in their bedroom helped increased their sex life, another 47 percent even said they sometimes watched television with their partner while engaging in sexual acts.
"We're a little surprised that Britons who have a TV in their bedroom have a more active sex life than those who don't, but it makes more sense when you look at the possible reasons why," said a spokesperson for VoucherCodesPro.co.uk, which sponsored the survey, according to The Daily Mail.
"Also, I suppose those who don't have a TV in their bedroom use their bedroom mainly for the purpose of sleeping and don't want to be distracted too often.
"However, we'd suggest that if they were wondering how to improve their sex lives, they could do so simply by purchasing a TV for their bedroom,."
