Google has teamed up with Johnson & Johnson in the name of technological science. Moving forward, the two partners will now be working to help improve a vision for robotic surgical tools. They have partnered with Ethnicon, one of the U.S.'s biggest operating room tools and equipment suppliers.

"Google has the intellectual property and capability to help us make a robot that is much more than just an extension of a surgeon's eyes and arms," said Gary Pruden, chairman of J&J's global surgery group."It would give them the information to make decisions . . . right down to where to make the best incision."

Researchers believe that the technology could be used to provide surgeons with new time and extra hands to work with patients, according to Mashable. However, the financial information regarding the terms have not quite been disclosed at this time.

In 2014 more than a third of Google Ventures investments were in the health and life sciences industries. The future looks promising for technological science in medicine.
