Daredevil isn't the only one with superhuman abilities--and we're not talking about other fictional heroes, either. Regular, everyday people can also display extraordinary abilities.

Marvel's Daredevil has superhuman senses, with highly tuned reflexes and the ability to hear even a pin drop in a noisy room. He may be blind, but he's able to use his abilities to navigate the world around him-and he's not alone. Humans have been known to use echolocation to navigate their surroundings when blind. Not only that, but sighted people can also learn to echolocate.

The human brain normally suppresses echoes, but it perceives them when people use echolocation. In fact, 47-year-old Daniel Kish uses echolocation to ride his bike, dance and perform other daily activities without the need for sight. The phenomenon is more common in those who are blind, since sighted people don't need to use it to navigate their world.

Of course, Daredevil also has his seemingly superhuman reflexes to thank for some of the feats he's able to accomplish. But he's not the only one with fast reflexes. Isao Machii, a Guinness World Record holder, managed to use a sword to cut a BB gun pellet out of the air. If that isn't "superhuman" when it comes to reflexes, we don't know what is.

While the fictional Daredevil is relatively limited in his powers, though, people in the real world aren't. Stephen Wiltshire, a British artist, has a photographic memory that's so detailed that he only needs to see a city for a few minutes before being able to draw an exact, panoramic picture of the city. There are also instances where humans have lifted entire cars off of individuals. In addition, there's Wim Hof, nicknamed the "Ice Man," who has managed to withstand temperatures far below zero; he was once able to survive for 72 minutes outdoors at the North Pole in nothing but his shorts.

Superhuman abilities aren't just for fiction. They also extend to everyday people. People are performing amazing feats each and every day and while Daredevil certainly has his advantages, real people do too.
