A Star Wars fan used an empty plain as the setting of a life-size replica of the All Terrain Scout Transport (AT-ST) rom "Return of the Jedi." The scout walker art piece was made of timber, plastic, and scrap metal. It stood 27 feet tall, sat two, and appeared to have a functioning chin-mounted laser cannon which moves up and down and makes laser noises.

The "Star Wars" ATST replica was 27 feet in height, which looked like it had a functioning chin-mounted laser cannon that had the ability to move up and down. Also, the scout ranger can produce laser noises. The "Star Wars" inspired replica was first seen on Imgur eight months ago, when a user named Kernish saw the Imperial walker and posted a few shots online. A couple months later, Kernish asked the owner for a tour.

Imgur user Kernish walked onto the propriety and spoke to the engineer who did not wish to be identified. Instead, he referred to the creator as Kuat. "Star Wars'" Kuat is the movie's planet where its Galactic Empire produced a number of their warships such as the Star Destroyers, ATSTs, and All Terrain Armored Transports, Inverse reported.

Kuat told Kernish that he pulled specs for the structure from the internet and that the replicas have a ladder in the back that led up to the fully designed cockpit. Above the entry port were two solar panels that powered the chin and side cannons. The cockpit was a combination of circuit boards and random gadgetry which were meant to resemble a Mid-Tech Legacy 6000. With the eye shutters closed, red light bulbs were turned on to cast an ominous glow.

"Star Wars" replica maker also pointed out that the custom-made plate that identified the AT-ST was based on the scout walker, who was hijacked by no less than Chewbacca. And there were other little details like the Imperial propaganda poster, as well as a lightsaber placed next to an emergency button.

"Star Wars" inspired piece was built by Kuat for no other reason than to prove to himself that he can do the project, Hackaday reported.
