'Messenger Codes' Make Finding Friends on Facebook Easier

Starting a new conversation on Facebook can sometimes be exasperating. Users have to go through all their contacts to find their friends and then begin a conversation. But good news, Facebook has just made chatting with friends a lot easier.

As reported on The Verge, getting in touch with your friends over Facebook Messenger has truly been made hassle-free as Facebook had very recently rolled out its newest chatting methods. Facebook had unveiled to the public its Messenger Codes, which are actually the counterpart of Snapchat's Snapcodes.

Users can now simply pull up on Facebook Messenger any newly added friend just by scanning his/her name using the Messenger Codes. Consequently, manually typing any friend's name and even scrolling through friend list are no longer necessary to start a conversation.

Putting up business accounts is another way to use the Facebook messenger codes. This truly facilitates businesses in instantly connecting with their customers via Facebook Messenger to cater them with quality customer service as cited on Tech Times. Facebook really aims to provide users the avenue where they can communicate with one another as fast as possible.

Together with these special Facebook Messenger codes, the company also launches Messenger Links. The links directly send users of Facebook Messenger to that account's Facebook profile page if a user is not yet friends with the person he wants to chat with.

When it comes to searching and chatting with friends, bouncing between Messenger and the main app becomes really easy with the help of the Messenger codes and Messenger Links.

Released on April 7, Facebook Messenger had also added up airline features.  It has also allowed users to directly order an Uber ride from the app. An in-store payment feature in Messenger and an encrypted messaging feature are now being considered by the company.
