Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 Update: AT&T Begins Preorders On May 6
Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 will be available soon for the T&T subscribers as the carrier begins pre-orders on May 6. In addition to this, the device will be offered without initial payment, but with an acquisition plan worth $10 per month for 20 months.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 offering would mean extending an investment of $200 on the new device for two years. For a fee of $10 per month, the Samsung tablet comes with a Mobile Share Value Plan. There are two available color options, which are Smoky Titanium and Frost White.
Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 is powered by a Snapdragon 410 SoC with four cores that run at 1.3 GHz. The processing power is supported by 1.5 GB of RAM, while the default storage capacity has 16 GB, including an option to expand the memory through a microSD card, GSM Arena reported.
The camera of the new Samsung device is paired with a 2-megapixel front camera and a 5-megapixel rear camera. Its OEM is equipped with an Adreno 306 GPU and a screen display size of 8-inch HD with a resolution size of 800x 1,280 pixels. The tablet runs on an Android 6.0 Marshmallow, and with a battery size of 5,000 mAh, it is expected to last for 13 hours on 4G LTE.
One notable benefit of the slate is that it puts the secure sandbox Samsung KNOX, which allows the users to use the encrypted-ready apps above the regular apps that others are using for non-commercial reasons. In addition to this, the new Samsung device could readily switch to a DVR through its embedded DirecTV features. Also, the slate provides moderate specs in the soft-paced payment scheme, which is ideal for those who are considering a Samsung tablet, SamMobile reported.
Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 is also available through other big carriers aside from AT&T, like Verizon, Sprint and the US Cellular.
