Iphone has plenty of  applications that can be used to check the weather and this fact has troubled weather forecasters. With the rise of the latest technologies that could replace human forecasting methods, James Mann, one of the esteemed TV meteorologists is uncertain on what else to do on a typical weather during the spring season. Most viewers have already checked the weather on their devices, and he will more likely restate what they are already aware of.

During the early days, thermodynamics was used in predicting the weather. Manual calculations and laws of motions are utilized, which has become impractical and inaccurate if applied in today's life due to demographic and atmospheric limitations. Another application on the works is "Dark sky." This application has fusion of hyper-accurate  weather data and an excellent looking interface.

Dark Sky has a two-week free trial that shows detailed radar maps and the 24/7 weather forecast. The premium service unlocks notifications for UV index as well as screen widgets for quick access. The paid version of the app is more accurate than the trial version, Tech Insider reported.

Iphone is more accessible and has a growing number of applications day by day. As for TV meteorologists like James Mann, locality and personality are still important despite the rise of new technologies. His familiarity with the people and geography establishes a relevance with the modern viewers.
