Macro quantum has emerged from the mechanical effect of superconductors that are considered to be among the most outstanding phenomena in the field of physics, given all the impressive technological implications. Technologies such as the powerful magnets that make the trains levitate and the MRI machines that are useful in imaging the human body become possible because of superconductivity.

Based on the concept of macro quantum mechanics, everything on the microscopic  scale, including the light and matter, has a wave feature to it. The wave  nature is usually not detectable, since the waves are small and are out of sync with each other, which means their effects are not significant. But for this purpose, the observation of macro quantum mechanical behavior studies has to be made at a very low temperature and also at a microscopic length scales. On the other hand, superconductors have a noticeable effect in the absence of resistance by altering the material's whole property, Live Science.

The chief macro quantum effect that happens is that the quantum waves will be highly synchronized and take place at a macroscopic rate - the similar effect observed in lasers. Such similarity shows that in a laser, the photons that make up the light are synchronized and become one single coherent wave. The macroscopic wave in a superconductor is for the electron macro quantum waves, rather than the photons. However, the fundamental feature is only the same. Also, the macro quantum waves were also observed in Bose-Einstein condensates, wherein the atoms cooled to nanokelvin temperatures fall into one state. To date, these related yet unique phenomena have just been examined separately.

But based on further observations,  while lasers, Bose-Einstein and superconductors condensates have one common feature, it is assumed that it must be able to notice these features at the same time. In fact, a recent study in an international collaborative effort with teams from the US, Japan and Germany has noted for the first time an experimental manifestation that this assumption is true, according to Phys.Org.
