Tekoia's SURE Universal Wins The Grand Award At Asia Smartphone Apps Contest
Tekoia's SURE Universal won the overall Grand Award at Asia Smartphone Apps Contest 2016 in Hong Kong. This includes the Gold Award, the Grand Award in the Advertising and Marketing category and also received the Grand Award for the Best Overall App.
Tekoia Ltd. is considered the top ranked and rated Universal Remote app for Android. The company develops the platform for smartphone based universal remote that can be used for smart appliances, digital media devices and loT devices. It can control million various smart home appliances and digital media devices. It is easy to use. The SURE Universal Remote is now available on Apple App Store and Google Play.

The Asia Smartphone Apps Contest is held every year from 012. It is organized by the Hong Kong Wireless Technology Industry Association (WITIA). The contest is sponsored by Create Hong Kong of the HKSAR Government. It aims to recognize excellence and innovation in smartphone app development.
There were 120 entrants from Singapore, Hong Kong, Israel, Japan, China, South Korea, Taiwan and Malaysia. The categories include Advertising and marketing, Games and Edutainment and Creative Lifestyle. There were nine finalists chosen that competed for the gold, silver and bronze awards for the given categories. The Grand Award was granted for the best overall app in all of the categories.
Viktor Ariel, CEO of Tekoia stated that currently, the majority of SURE Universal users are located in the Europe, the US and South America, where SURE is No.1 rated and ranked. He further said that it is a tremendous honor for them to win the overall Grand Award at such a prestigious contest in Asia. They are grateful for this recognition and support from the Hong Kong WTIA and Create Hong Kong of the HKSAR Government.
