A 15-Year Old Teen Invented The World's First Bluetooth Controllable LED Tie, Now Available On Kickstarter
Darius Kuddo, 15 years old, launched his invention of the Lumen Tie, a revolutionary necktie with Bluetooth connectivity on Kickstarter on June 28, 2016.
The world first Bluetooth LED tie is made up of 100 bright, multicolor LEDs and a piece of clothing. It can be operated from a smartphone or smartwatch. You can change what pattern is exhibited, enter a text message that will scroll on the tie, or operate the brightness of the LEDs. You can also play certain games on the tie that can be operated directly from your phone or through the Al on the tie, according to PR Web.

The users can program the Lumen tie. It is also comes with various patterns. Its patent pending designs has microcontroller powered by Arduino, which is the most well-known prototyping platform.

To code it, you can use a web-based configurator, which is also patent pending, to choose the patterns you want on the tie. The users can also download the generated code file and uploads it to the tie. The Lumen Tie is now for sale on Kickstarter. It has a price tag of $99. It can be shipped anywhere in the world.

Darius Kuddo has authored 8 mobile apps that are currently available. He has two patents pending. He is also experienced in 7 programming languages. This includes Objective C, C++, Java, HTML, CSS, PHP and JavaScript. He is living in Washington D.C. and goes to school at St. Anselm's Abbey.
