‘Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2’ Update: Worldwide Release Happens In October, NPCs, Super Saiyan 3 Mode Bonus

"Dragon Ball Xenoverse" second installment will be launched simultaneously in Japan and the West. The worldwide launch is reportedly because of the fact that Dimps, its Osaka developer, only had three platforms to focus on.

With "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" the company is working on a worldwide launch. The "Dragon Ball Xenoverse" publisher Bandai Namco has made it previously unclear if the narrative game series is to be launched first in Japan and a later global launch release date following the trend that other Japanese games take. Japan based companies, just like the "Dragon Ball Xenoverse" developer Dimps, have to translate the game's language makeover for its worldwide release. Usually, this specific stage is what Japanese developers go through, Neurogadget reported.

"Dragon Ball Xenoverse" second installment according to the company will also have a new set of non-playable characters, a bigger hub world, overhauled combat system, and enhanced overall graphics on top of its avatar's improved customization features. Its trailer, meanwhile, confirmed that "Super Saiyan 3" mode will also be added.

Th e"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" soundtrack, on the other hand, will take parts from anime "We Gotta Power" and "Cha-La Head-Cha-La." Its official track will be remixed by Aoki.

"Dragon Ball Xenoverse" players on Xbox 360 and PS3 old-gen consoles, on the other hand, will have to make a system upgrade if they plan to play the "Dragon Ball Xenoverse" second installment. However, Bandai Namco has not announced yet if "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" will be made compatible with the upcoming consoles Xbox Scorpio and PS4 Neo from Microsoft and Sony, Comic Book reported.

"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" slated release for Xbox One and PS4 gamers is on Oct. 25, while gamers on PC platforms are to have it on Oct. 28. Reportedly, its exclusive launch for the current-gen consoles Xbox One and , PS4, as well as the Steam PC version counterparts played a significant part since Dimps had to work on only three platforms.
