If recent reports are to be believed the upcoming MacBook Pro 2016 will be the best ever laptop Apple has ever released. It is expected that the upcoming MacBook Pro lineup will get a major overhaul with a lot of interesting upgrades and changes, according to HNGN.
The next gen Pro laptop is expected to feature NFC chip technology as well as Touch ID fingerprint scanning features for safe and secure transactions. It is also rumored to feature Virtual Reality (VR) support and 4G cellular connectivity, reported Yibada.
Among other specs, the MacBook Pro 2016 is rumored to get an OLED touch bar that will replace the function keys on the top of the keyboard. The OLED bar is also expected to include the fingerprint reader. The laptop is also rumored to feature 5K Apple display with an integrated GPU. The new 5K display will provide 5120 x 2880 screen resolution and will support Augmented Reality (AR) features.
Various reports suggest the upcoming laptop might get rolled out in two screen-size variants, namely the 13-inch and 15-inch variants. It is most likely to run MacOS Sierra. There are high chances that the MacBook Pro 2016 will come equipped with Intel's 6th gen Skylake processors. It is expected to include new graphics unit from AMD and Nvidia. The laptop is also supposed to feature USB Type-C and ThunderBolt 3 ports.
