iPhone 7 Release Date, Specs, Price, Rumors: New Apple Phones Already Under Production Process?

While, fans are eagerly waiting for iPhone 7 to get released, there's still no word from Apple about what it has in store. Rumors about the possible specs, price and release date of the upcoming Apple iPhone iteration have been making rounds for quite some time now.

Recently, leaked pictures coming from Apple's top iPhone manufacturing partner were spotted online. According to BGR, iPhone 7 series is currently under production process. The reports states that the upcoming new iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus will feature the same overall design and shape like their predecessors, the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. However, it is reported that they'll be slightly thinner and the plastic antenna lines on the back of the phones will feature a new, slightly less abrasive design.

Designer Martin Hajek has created several impressive 3D renders of iPhone 7 with Space Black finish. In his realistic-looking renders, the designer has tried to include some of the rumored features including enlarged camera lens, a pair of USB-C capable headphones and the repositioned antenna lines.

Another leaked Apple iPhone 7 picture posted on the Chinese social-media site Weibo, coming from the repair company Rock Fix, showed the handset's back chassis with a larger rear camera. The casing featured a camera opening, much larger than the current iPhone 6 model, which is expected to support a new camera with a bigger CMOS sensor. It is rumored that the iPhone 7 will sport an upgraded single-lens camera while it's larger sibling iPhone 7 Plus will sport a new dual-lens design.

Among other specs, the Apple iPhone 7 is expected to come with new 3.5mm size EarPods featuring lightning connectors that will plug into the lightning port. It has been reported that the 3.5mm headphone jack could be scrapped.

There are also reports which claim that the upcoming Apple iPhone 7 has dropped the iconic physical home button in favor of a touch-sensitive one. Rumor has it that Apple may ditch the base 16GB storage option in favor of a 32GB base model. The midrange model will be 128 GB and top end will be 256 GB.

As far as Apple iPhone 7 release date is concerned, Apple is expected to follow its September release pattern.
