MacBook Pro 2016 Release Date, Specs, Price Update: Launch To Happen Between August And October?

If recent reports are to be believed Apple might release its highly anticipated MacBook Pro 2016 anytime between August and October. In fact, there are even chances that the next gen Pro laptop could be released alongside iPhone 7 in September.

Considering the fact that Apple's laptop sales declined by as much as 8.3 percent in the past year, the MacBook Pro 2016 is expected to perform well and put the company back in the race. The upcoming laptop is rumored to be the best ever laptop the Cupertino has ever released.

The new MacBook variation is expected to get a major overhaul with a lot of interesting upgrades and changes. It is rumored to get a brand-new 5K Apple display with 5120 x 2880 screen resolution and Augmented Reality (AR) features.

Rumor mills have it that Apple might roll out the MacBook Pro 2016 in two screen-size variants, namely the 13-inch and 15-inch variants with promising tech features. They will reportedly feature hinges produced using a mechanism called 'metal injection molding'.

The next gen Pro laptop is expected to feature NFC chip technology, Touch ID fingerprint scanning features for safe and secure transactions as well as 4G cellular connectivity. Among other specs, the MacBook Pro 2016 is rumored to get an OLED touch bar that will replace the function keys on the top of the keyboard. The OLED bar is also expected to include the fingerprint reader.

There are high chances that the MacBook Pro 2016 will come equipped with Intel's 6th gen Skylake processors. It is expected to run the upcoming MacOS Sierra and include new graphics unit from AMD and Nvidia. The laptop is also supposed to feature USB Type-C and ThunderBolt 3 ports. Support for Siri, Apple's intelligent personal assistant, as well as wireless charging features are also expected.
