"Star Wars Battlefront" Skirmish mode is a new update for players who want to play offline. The update will have free multiplayer maps, where heroes can get the Hoth-themed outfits and call on Jabba the Hut to hand out a Hutt Contract used for powerful weapons.

The "Star Wars Battlefront" Skirmish mode was created based on thousands of gamers' requests, Dual Shock reported.  Most of the feedbacks given to the developers were their desire to play the game in offline mode.

"Star Wars Battlefront" Skirmish mode gives players a chance to play offline against various bots and can opt to play solo or with a friend on a mission. If gamers want to play with friends, they will be using the co-op split screen that is available for consoles only. It also includes a free trial for players to experience Bespin before purchasing it.

The new "Star Wars Battlefront" Skirmish mode has a difficulty level, where players can choose ranges. It also has two types of modes, the Walker Assault and Fighter Squadron. Gamers will be able to play on different levels across the galaxy with the new "Star Wars Battlefront" giving gamers a better way to enjoy the game.

Meanwhile, a third expansion "Star Wars Death Star" will be out in September. The upcoming expansion is said to have more maps, new weapons, Star cards and two new heroes. Some speculate that one of the new heroes will be Chewbacca, but none have been officially identified.

"Star Wars Battlefront" Skirmish will be released on July 20 for all gamers, but the game update may only be available for consoles. For the "Star Wars Death Star" pack, it is reportedly possible that EA will launch it during the Star Wars Celebration Europe. EA promised players more free in-game events, log-in rewards and more Hutt contracts, Eurogamer reported.
