Pokemon GO Cheats: There's A New Easy Trick To Evolve Eevee Into Vaporeon, Jolteon Or Flareon
Many people have been going crazy over the newest game, Pokémon GO. And players who have played the game for a while now know how difficult it is to catch a rare Pokémon. But, after a series of wrong theories, Pokémon GO players have finally figured out a skill on Eeveelution in the raved mobile game.
According to Tech Times, eeveelution is a term coined for the evolution of a Pokémon with rare evolution powers named, Eevee. In the game, Eevee originally has 8 evolutions which require players to gather specific items or to fulfill different conditions to dictate what Eeveelution can happen.
It was first thought that Eevee's evolution in Pokémon GO randomly happened. Several theories about factors that affect Eeveelution then came out. It said that Eevee's evolution is linked with its secondary attack and the color of the nearest gym, but all these theories were trashed.
Ew.com explained that the Pokémon GO gamers have figured out a way to control Eevee's evolution, and it was all thanks to the original Pokémon anime series.
The 1998 Pokémon episode titled "The Battling Eevee Brothers" showed Ash finding an abandoned Eevee that belonged to a boy named Mikey. That boy had three brothers who owned evolved Eevee, Rainer had Vaporeon, Sparky had Jolteon and Pyro had Flareon.
In a Reddit discussion page, the evolution trick was discussed, a thread started by smithnigel which revealed that the particular episode will play a huge part in the choosing the Pokémon that Eevee will eventually evolve to.
According to gamerant.com, the first step is to rename the Eevee into the name of the Eevee you plan to evolve to. For example, for gamers who want a Vaporeon, they would have to rename their Eevee to Rainer, and so on. Players have to make sure that the spelling should be correct, and the first character should be capitalized.
The next step is for gamers should save and restart their game in order to make sure that the name change will remain since Pokémon GO is still unstable. Players should then click on the evolve option to get their Vaporeon, Jolteon or Flareon. Smithnigel and friends claimed that they were 100 percent successful using this method.
However, if the method is done twice in a row in a Pokémon, gamers observed that they don't get the correct Eeveelution. Players will have to use another method since they will not be getting the same Flareon or Vaporeon twice in a row.
