Pokémon GO has had a phenomenal success since it was first launched. Players of the game have been circling town in search for different Pokémon. But, some rare Pokémon are just too hard to find. So here's the latest guide to finding rare Pokémon like Dragonair, Dragonite, Gyarados, Snorlax and Porygon.

For some who are wondering if there really is a Rare Pokémon classification in Pokémon GO, the answer is yes, although the makers of the game don't classify them as such. Levelwinner.com has come up with a series of strategy to help players find and catch Rare Pokémon like Dragonair, Dragonite, Gyarados, Snorlax and Porygon.

First up is Dragonair. This Pokémon is mostly found near bodies of water (lakes, oceans, rivers, the beach, etc.) same as Dratini, which can evolve into Dragonair when you have 25 Dratini Candy. According to pokechase.com, eggs are also a common way to earn a Dratini and Dragonair. Use the Ingress Trick to find a good water spot surrounded with Pokémon.

Next is Dragonite, which is usually found in wooded areas, or in parks. Because of its location, Dragonite can sometimes be considered as rarer than Dragonair or Dratini. Unlike Dragonair or Dratini that could possibly hatch on 5km or 10km eggs, Dragonite very very very rarely hatch from eggs like those. However, you can evolve a Dratini first to a Dragonair with 25 Dratini Candy and then evolve the Dragonair with 100 of his Candy to get a Dragonite.

If you're the type to 'plan ahead' on the Pokémon you want to catch, you will know that Gyardos is one of the Pokémon many players skip for a simple reason: Magikarp needs 400 Candies to evolve. And because of that, players would rather spend their time catching other interesting Pokémon, than grinding Magikarp.

Gyardos are usually spotted near large bodies of water, so small water source like a thin stream or a fairly large puddle won't do the trick. If you live far from any large seas, or ocean, this would probably be a good time to call some friends for a road trip to the beach, or you'll have to wait for Niantic to add some features.

If you think that Gyardos are rare, you're wrong. Snorlax is twice as rare as Gyardos, and your best chance of getting one is if a 10 km egg drops one. If you want to catch a wild Snorlax, however, you need to stay away from the busy downtown. A Snorlax wants a quiet, inhabited place, so a suburb or far flung villages will be the best place to start looking for the big old narcoleptic bear-thing.

And last but certainly not the least, Porygon. A Porygon sometimes hatch from a 5km eggs, although you can also find them in 10km eggs. Besides that, the best places to look for these creatures are those that are crowded and loud. So if you're ever near a casino, there is a great chance to find Porygons.

This makes sense considering that's where Porygon was found in the original games. So if you live near Reno, Vegas, Atlantic City, Biloxi or another casino hub, take a day trip for some Pokémon hunting, writerparty.com reported.
