After the recent success of Pokémon GO, Niantic are ready to make a lot of people's childhood dream come true again, by making Harry Potter GO a reality.
According to unilad.co.uk, a petition was started by fans calling out the gaming company to make their dreams of casting spells in real-life, having a duel with friends, and catching magical beasts a reality. Basically, they were asking to be included in the phenomenal Harry Potter series.

Niantic, the company responsible for making the most sensational smartphone game to date Pokémon GO, may have listened to the millions of people asking them for the Harry Potter version of Pokémon GO. With that said, they didn't want to waste any time to acquire the rights for the future "Harry Potter GO." Hello Giggles reported that Niantic's senior developer, Marcus Figueroa revealed in a recent interview.
"We have acquired the rights for the app. The demand for this title was absolutely insane, so we figured we'd give it a shot. If we're lucky we might see a launch by early 2017, but it's hard to tell this early in the project," Figueroa said.
When asked to give more details about the upcoming game, all Figueroa said was: "We want to do something with schools of witchcraft and wizardry, similar to PokéStops in Pokémon GO. As wells a quest system, and possibly large scale completely interactive events, but no promises. That's all I can say."
Ashtyn Hannon, the one who led the petition, as well as other Potterheads have their own unique ideas about the game. Hannon specifically said that she thinks it would be a good idea to have horcruxes, potions, duels, and being able to sort players into their houses in the game. She also said that the app could be used to promote the new film, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
Meanwhile, jtxhnews, com reported that Pokémon GO continues to spread like Charmander's wild fire and has already topped the American iOS App Store's "Top Grossing" and "Free" charts. The game has become the fastest game to top the App Store and Google Play, beating Clash Royale, and during the first week of its release became the most downloaded app on the App Store of all time.
