Bears By The Beach: It's A Day Out For This Furry Family

They may be big and brawny, but you have to admit that the inner child inside you would still think of your childhood Teddy whenever you hear the word "bear." There is no shame in that, they are incredibly cute, and their cuteness just went up another level when a small family of bears was seen by tourists in the southern shoreline of Lake Tahoe in California.

Pallas Buckley, who shared a video via her cell phone of a female bear and her two bear cubs taking a bath by the sea, has gone viral in the last few days. In the clip, the two cubs were seen wrestling each other in shallow waters, splashing and playing like most children do. According toPatch.com, the older bear, believed to be the mom, played referee, although she seems to have been enjoying their outing and cool-off by the beach, not minding the curious humans surrounding and ogling them from the shore and from inflatable toys in the water.

A voice can be heard over the video, saying, "This is amazing that they just came down in the middle of the day, with all these people, and decided to go for a swim." A child in the video also said, "They act so much like humans. The babies are playing and the mommy is just supervising."

Global News said that the family remained close together near the shoreline as they too, enjoyed their day at the beach. They were seen later in the day moving inland and returning to the forest, but not before they inspected an abandoned cooler on the sand. While many people think bears are cute, there is actually more to them than just their adorable exterior. One Kind stated that5 bears are actually very intelligent, as they have incredible navigation skills and excellent memories, and they even use tools to play and hunt. These are probably reasons how they managed to navigate their way to the sea and enjoy the waves - their superb skills can take them places.
