The app PoGo-UWP was created by Stefano Tenuta, an applicant that Microsoft once turned down because they said he did not have enough passion. There may also be some issues and bugs since the app is still in beta. However, the good news is that the developer is working hard to make sure improve their version of the "Pokémon GO" app for Windows. In fact, since the release of the beta version, they have already updated it three times.

The app is up on GitHub for anybody to compile, fork from, or even port to other compatible platforms. Reddit has also posted a list of the update in PoGo-UWP.
