The specs and features of Lenovo's Yogabook is designed to even the tides against Microsoft's segments such as the Surface Pro and Google's Pixel hybrids in the market. The device is also anticipated to offer new modifications and alterations.

As reported by Techcrunch, Lenovo's research team learned that the young generation of users is usually undecided between tablets and laptops. Usually, tablet design is convenient when the user is in need of a device for media consumption and especially for quick note taking in lectures and meetings.

However, there is a very limited productivity with tablets that can only be substituted by a full pledge laptop. Lenovo's response to these unanswered demands by the consumers is to create a 360 degrees' foldable touch screen convertible laptop, which replaces its keyboard keys with a futuristic touch panel screen.

Lenovo just want to be more creative to leverage against Microsoft's dominating Surface Pro and Google's Pixel hybrids in the market. The Yoga Book, or if you prefer "the Book" outshines other devices in the Hybrid category because of its innovative touch panel keyboard.

According to Lenovo's official blog, the touch keyboard is almost like a large touchpad fitted in the entire keyboard area. For starters, it may feel awkward not being able to type with actual physical keyboards but the when you get used to it, typing could never be as flawless this.

It also has a pen digitizer similar to some previous ThinkPad models. This was inspired by Wacom's digitizer pen, a graphic tablet and pen for digital artists, which offers almost a similar experience with writing with an actual pen. It also has a new metal hinge design, which extends along the laptop's length just like an actual "book" bind.

The Yoga Book will be available in two variants running different operating systems, Windows 10 and Android Marshmallow. Other specs include 10.1 inches 1920 x 1200 IPS touch screen display, 8500 mAh Lithium ion battery and Intel atom x5 processor.
