Torrents' Next Of Kin: ExtraTorrent Considered Most Reliable Among Other Torrent Sites?

Several torrenting sites have already been shut down by authorities. The popular file sharing site Kickass Torrents was shut closed following the arrest of its founder. People have looked for other file sharing sites and found that ExtraTorrents are the most credible alternative.

According to iSports Time, the arrest of the file sharing site's founder Artem Vaulin became a huge issue that resulted to KAT's other domains being seized. Kickasstorrents.com, kat.cr, thekat.tv, kickass.to, kat.ph, and kastatic.com have all been seized by the US Government, which resulted to Torrentz replacing Kickass' slot as the top torrent website, but only for a while

After the arrest and seizure of the file sharing site, another torrent site, The Pirate Bay, who also had some issues with the law since its first appearance in 2003, was the go-to site for those people in search for movies and music on the net without spending a dime.  Tech Worm has reported that TPB has also face a lot of bumps on the road with its co-founders getting arrested and facing several lawsuits worth millions of dollar. However, the site always manages to go back to business using a different domain, hence dubbed HYDRA by many. It has switched several domains time to time to avoid the authorities. Currently, it is using its original .org domain.

Although TPB seems to be a good alternative to KAT, it was recently reported by the University Herald that ExtraTorrent, home of the popular torrent release groups YTS, the replacement to the original YTS (not connected to each other) and RarBG, a torrent site, blocked in most country but remained at Alexa's top torrent sites, was considered the most reliable torrent site by many.  

Reports also has it that ExtraTorrent was a partner of ETTV and ETRG sites (torrent provider sites) after the two sites were taken down by the police authority. From there on, ExtraTorrents exclusively distributed and allowed sharing of torrent files from the two popular sites.

Meanwhile, a few newcomers are appearing one by one in the hopes of replacing original torrent sites. DXTorrent and Kat.am are reportedly trying to clone the popular torrent websites. A Reddit user was also kind enough to share some other possible websites for torrent needs such kat.al, zooqle.com, torrentdownloads.me, 1337x.to, torrentfunk.com and many more.

However, these are new websites and are not yet verified so be very careful when you surf and block popups when you do.
