'Clash of Clans' September Update Release Date, Latest News: Update Announcement Tipped For Next Week?
While, developer Surecell hasn't revealed anything about the release date of the "Clash of Clans" latest update, rumors are that the much anticipated update will roll out sometime in the third week of September. It is to be noted that Supercell's "Clash of Clans" once hold the record for the most popular and most downloaded mobile game. However, the game's player base has been constantly on a decline owing to the release of Niantic Lab's crazily popular augmented reality game "Pokemon Go."
According to GameNGuide, "Clash of Clans" reported the highest drop in user base in the month of July which is the same time when the super-addictive mobile game "Pokémon Go" was released. However, now, it seems Supercell will leave no stone unturned to gain back players attention. The "Clash of Clans" September update is rumored to be a massive one. Massive in the sense that the update will introduce a lot of interesting changes in the gameplay.
As per report coming from MobiPicker, "Clash of Clans" previous updates focused only on players with Town Hall Level 11 and above. This resulted in a large of players with lesser Town Hall level abandoning the game. Keeping this in mind, it is expected that Supercell's "Clash of Clans" September update will bring in interesting new features for Town Hall Level 11 and below players as well as newbies. It is also rumored that the upcoming update will offer free gems to "Clash of Clans" gamers.
In related news, Supercell has officially cancelled ClashCon 2016 event. Explaining the reason behind the move, the "Clash of Clans" developer said that instead of holding the ClashCon 2016 event this year they have decided to more focus on improving the games, making new additions as well as on other things that will benefit the entire Clash Community.
