Samsung Galaxy S8 Release Date, Specs, Rumors: Handset Tipped To Get Dual Boot System?

Rumors about the highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy S8 release date, specs and pricing details are floating ablaze. Samsung fans are expecting that the next gen Galaxy handset might come with some super specs and features better than its predecessors "Galaxy S7" and "Galaxy S7 Edge." Reports are that the smartphone maker will roll out two variants of its upcoming Galaxy flagship smartphone- "Samsung Galaxy S8" and "Galaxy S8 Edge."

According to a report coming from Android Community, Samsung has filed a patent application which shows a mobile device running Android and Windows simultaneously. So, there are chances that Galaxy S8 will get a dual boot system.

New leak, courtesy Weibo, suggests that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8 will feature a dual-lens rear camera- 12 megapixel S5K2L2 sensor and a 13 megapixel Sony sensor, an 8 megapixel front camera along with an iris scanner, reported Christian Times. The latest smartphone to get the dual lens camera feature is Apple's recently announced iPhone 7 Plus. It is expected that the dual-lens camera feature will enhance the handset's picture quality to a great extent.

Among other specs, the Samsung Galaxy S8 is expected to feature a 5.5-inch 4K UHD curved screen display with a resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 pixels, a massive 6GB of random access memory (RAM), up to 128GB of internal storage, Android 7.0 Nougat, Smart Glow feature, a USB Type-C port and virtual reality support. It is to be noted that Samsung's next galaxy flagship smartphone is expected to come with a brand new Exynoss 8895 processor. The Exynoss 8895 processor is rumored to be faster than Apple's upcoming A10 processor and more powerful than Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 830 processor.
