Samsung recently unveiled its latest Galaxy flagship dubbed Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime in Vietnam. The smartphone maker's latest addition to the 'Galaxy J' lineup is a slightly updated version of the Samsung Galaxy J7 which was also released this year. The Galaxy J7 Prime's overall design, specification and features are pretty much similar to its sibling Galaxy J7. Below we have compiled a detailed Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime review report on the major features which will help you take a decision whether or not to buy the handset.

Talking about Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime specification and features, the handset features a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) IPS display with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 4, Samsung's very own Exynos 7870 System-on-Chip, clocked at 1.6 GHz coupled with 3GB of RAM, 32GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable via microSD slot and dual-SIM card support, reported Gadgets 360. The smartphone runs on the latest version of the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system and TouchWiz UI skin. It measures 151.5x74.9x8.1mm and houses a fingerprint scanner beneath the Home button for added security.

As far as the camera is concerned, there is a 13-megapixel camera on the rear panel of Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime with LED flash and an 8-megapixel selfie camera with an f/1.9 aperture and additional features like face detection, HDR, beauty mode, Geo-tagging, panorama and 1080p video recording option. The handset offers 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, GPS/ A-GPS, Bluetooth v4.1, Micro-USB (with OTG), and 3.5mm audio jack in terms of connectivity options. It also packs a 3300mAh battery which the makers claim provides around 10 hours or more device life, reported PC Tablet.

The Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime is priced at 6,290,000 VND or around $280. The Vietnam website listing shows that the handset is available in two color variants- Black Personality and Stylish Gold. The smartphone is currently available in Vietnam only and there is no word on availability of the Galaxy J7 Prime outside Vietnam.
