Good news for Indian "Pokémon GO" fans. Finally, we have some information coming from "Pokémon GO" maker Niantic Labs about the game's possible India release. Currently, the madly popular augmented reality game is available in more than 100 countries around the world.

Recently, John Hanke, Niantic Labs CEO, noted in a blog post that they are working hard to roll out "Pokémon GO" in more countries including India. "Pokémon GO has been installed hundreds of millions of times since our launch in early July and is played in more than 100 countries around the world. We are working hard to bring the game to more (India, we hear you!)," the blog post read.

Hanke also noted that they are receiving a lot of positive feedback from "Pokémon GO" players of all ages and lifestyles about how the game has brought good to their lives. What's interesting to note is that a number of people have admitted to use "Pokémon GO" to cope with depression, autism, social anxiety, and even to improve their relationships.

Last month, Niantic had also released a statement on its official Facebook page to explain the reason behind delay in the game's India release. The developer noted that issues with third-party services forced the company to delay the game's global roll out.

"We have limited access by third-party services which were interfering with our ability to maintain quality of service for our users and to bring Pokemon Go to users around the world. The large number of users has made the roll-out of Pokemon Go around the world an... interesting... challenge," the post read.

Notably, although, "Pokémon GO" has not been officially rolled out in India, thousands of Indian gamers are already playing the game as they have installed it by illegally downloading the game through APK mirror files or VPN (Virtual Private Networks). As downloading fake and malicious game apps from third party sites can seriously compromise an individual's phone, we our readers to wait for the game developers to announce "Pokémon GO" official India release date.
