Cancellation of GTA6 by Rockstar has come as a huge disappointment for gaming fans across the globe. The reason generally known is that the company presently is looking to focus on GTA5, for now. But, the enthusiasm of gamers could have been helped if Rockstar had made an official announcement that the GTA6 project is only getting delayed or something to that effect. Unfortunately, there has been no such move from Rockstar to that effect concerning Grand theft auto 6.

Earlier it was rumored that Rockstar would unveil GTA6 at the PlayStation meeting. However, Rockstar failed to make it to the meeting. There are also several reports suggesting that Rockstar decided to skip the New York event since the studio had already planned to cancel further developments in GTA6 according to reports by Headlines and Global News.

The Gaming community has been waiting for long for Rockstar to announce the release of GTA6 and their absence at the PlayStation meeting has only deepened their disappointment.

Rockstar has mentioned that, for now, GTA6 is canceled and the company would focus on GTA5. With GTA5 pretty new in the gaming market, this move by Rockstar is perhaps understandable and avid gamers can expect new updates/contents for the fifth edition.

What still remains fluid is for how long Rockstar has postponed GTA6, or whether they have completely shelved the project? There are no clues to the answer and only Rockstar can provide a conclusive answer as of now.

What are your views on Rockstar canceling the GTA6 project? Do you continue to believe that the company will eventually revisit their decision or will GTA6 be dumped for all time to come? On the other hand, if you are expecting that GTA6 will see the light of the day, sometime soon, what are your expectations and what are the new features you are looking forward to? Can GTA6 be a huge hit, as and when it released? Pour out all your thoughts on GTA6 and Rockstar through your comments below.
