After iPhone 7 launch, Apple fans, and tech enthusiasts have turned their focus on the highly anticipated Apple MacBook Pro 2016. While people were expecting the Cupertino to announce regarding MacBook Pro 2016 release date, specs or price details during the September iPhone 7 launch event, the same did not happen. New reports suggest the MacBook Pro 2016 release date has been scheduled for October.
It is expected that Apple's MacBook Pro 2016 will come equipped with the best in class specs and features to compete with Microsoft's upcoming Surface Pro 5. The most talked about feature of the next gen Pro laptop is the digital function key display. According to Bloomberg, the Dynamic Function Row, which will sit above the keyboard, will display the function keys, volume, brightness and media controls. There's still conflicting reports about whether Apple's upcoming MacBook pro laptop will settle with Intel's Kaby Lake processor or Skylake processor.
There are also reports which claim Apple might ditch the headphone jack in its upcoming MacBook Pro 2016. In fact, the tech giant has sent out survey questionnaires to MacBook Pro users asking them if they use their laptop's headphone jack. "Do you ever use the headphone port on your MacBook Pro with Retina display?" read one of the questions asked in the Apple survey which also included questions related to MacBook Pro battery life, USB ports, and SD card slot. It remains to be seen whether the headphone jack gets removed from the upcoming laptop.
